Still recovering from Karnak overload, I waited in the bus while Janice and the rest of the group toured these ruins.

The Valley of the Workmen, Deir El Madina, was the village where the artisans lived who did the wall paintings for the many royal tombs on Luxor's West Bank.

They also painted their own tombs here in the "Valley of Truth," as it was called at that time.
